Roasting Marshmallows in the Backyard
Megan and John came over with Daniel and Rachel. It was one of the many times I recruit John to come over and help me chop down trees or some other sort of manual labor. Anyway, to have some fun with the kids we roasted marshmallows.

The Playset
So we decided before our kids get too big we wanted to have a playset for them to be monkeys on. My parents came up to help build, although we had many little helpers as well. As any part of the playset was completed the kids had to thoroughly test it. After visiting our local Costco, these were the results (Be grateful that I am not sharing the picture of my dad after he split out his pants...):

Easter
Yes. If you must know it is a little emberassing to post pictures from Easter in May.
Our ward (neighborhood) had its usual Easter egg hunt. Of course Dana was a little busier since she had to help plan it. The kids had a good time although Emma was a little sick the morning of the hunt. (Yes she lost her breakfast just after that 2nd picture.)

Funny 2 Year Old
So I think (and I am pretty sure Dana agrees (and we are in no ways partial)) that we have some pretty good kids. Of course at times they can get a little silly. We find Spencer at this age has his own ideas on how things should be done. Here are a few examples:
Spencer has taken an interest in potty training very early. There are still a few details to work out.
The culinary world has nothing on him either. He has very good reasons for using an ice cream scooper as a spoon. You will have to ask him what that is.
He has also taken an interest in fashion. I am just not sure which fashion.

Ben's 5th Birthday!
Ben had his 5th birthday a little over a week ago. We had a little family party with a lady bug cake. For gifts he got a car race track, robotic bugs, a couple of Star Wars toys and Batman Lego for the Xbox. He is a good kid and from the first picture you can tell he had a good time.
Also, Emma had hawaiian day at school. We borrowed some things from our neighbors and this is the picture.
